Organicfest Special Guest Speaker!
Birke Baehr

Birke Baehr, TEDx Next Generation sensation and organic food and farming crusader will be joining the Organicfest 2012 celebration as our awesome special guest.  Birke will be speaking on the Organicfest main stage at 1:15 pm. 

Birke will also be signing his new book, "Birke on the Farm: The Story of a Boy's Search for Real Food" and talking with folks about organic food, farming and his inspiring mission to change improve our food system through sustainable farming.

Join the Organicfest Celebration ~ Volunteer

All the Organicfest celebration planning is coming along nicely. We have an exciting day planned and more ideas and surprises in the works.

As an all volunteer non-profit organization, the Organicfest depends on the generous help of Organicfest volunteers each year to present this FUNtastic organic celebration.

We need volunteers throughout the day in different areas of the fest. Information and the Organicfest volunteer schedule is available here and a super simple online Organicfest volunteer sign-up form here.  There's also some special thank-you gifts for our volunteers including one of our super cool Organicfest organic
t-shirts!

Enjoy Organic Music
Each year, local artists volunteer their talents to bring an delightful array of organic music to the Organicfest entertainment stage ~ from the Ancestral Native Flute music by Sirena Hawk Squires to toe-tapping American swing-grass
by Sherri Lynn and The Mountain Friends Band.

We would like to send a special thanks to Chris Rosser (musician, producer, songwriter and producer) for playing the Organicfest from our start 10 years ago!
