Our 10th year brings us back to our original location where it all began back in 2001 in our new Pack Square Park / Roger McGuire Green (previously City County Plaza.) We have a festive day planned filled with live music from local musicians who donate their talents to the mission of this special event ~ to celebrate and help grow the goodness of organics! Enjoy organic fare from the Green Light Cafe, the Green Sage Coffeehouse & Cafe, cool and tasty organic teas by Nourish & Flourish and organic lemonade or yummy snowcones from MacDaddy's and the best vegan ice cream ever from The Hop! Every hour, we have drawings for baskets of organic goods, goodies or gift certificates from Organicfest sponsors, vendors, local and national organic companies. Kids "Bee" a Good Bug or Garden Fairy Parade!

It's amazing how the Organicfest Kids' Garden Parade has grown over the years! Last year was we had so many kids (and some parents, family and friends!) come dressed as their favorite bug or garden fairy.

Everyone's invited to dress up and celebrate the goodness of the garden. Parade starts in the Imaginefest Kid's area in Reuter Terrace at 1pm.

Where else can you "Bee" a bug or garden fairy and dance in a garden parade?

The letters that some of our community children have written to our local organic farmers through our Organicfest Coloring UnContest will really touch your heart! We invite children to color the our happy organic farmer and his cornucopia of organic veggies and fruits (or draw their own picture on the back of the paper) and write a note to our community organic farmers and bring to the Organicfest and trade it in for an organic goody!
