Asheville's 19th Organicfest Celebration

Asheville's 18th Organicfest Celebration is happening on Sunday, August 25, 2019 in Pack Square Park. We have a FUNtastic, family friendly day planned. Organicfest guests will enjoy a day filled with live music by some of our amazing and talented local artists including Chris Rosser, Jimmy Landry, Sheri Lynn, Greenway and more! The Green Sage Cafe will be serving organic, vegan eats (including their famous Rainbow Wrap) and delicious fresh pressed juices. MacDaddy will be serving up their fresh squeezed organic lemonade which go perfect with a tasty, organic pretzel by Blunt Pretzels. We also have a new vendor this year for all you organic coffee lovers so be sure to visit Incite Coffee Company's booth and get a taste of their USDA Certified Organic, Fair Trade coffees.
Organicfest Marketplace features local organic and green/eco-friendly businesses like Green Mother Goods, Mount Inspiration Apparel, Ware, SocoSwings along with local, talented artists Firefly Recycled Glass, A Quartzy Life, ... and wellness practitioners including Radius Chiropractic (2019 Best of WNC) Peaceful Way Massage & Reiki offering massage, and more.

Asheville's 17th Organicfest Celebration

We're super excited to be presenting and celebrating Asheville's 17th Organicfest celebration. Our first event was the "Don't Be Fooled by Genetically Engineered Foods" on April Fools' Day in 2000. We walked the streets of downtown Asheville protesting the genetic engineering of our food. Our small non-profit, "Pure Food Partners" was just about 7 weeks old. Our mission at that time was to educated our community about the genetic engineering of food and gathering signatures on petitions to get label GMO foods.
