Organicfest Vendor Guidelines & Set-Up Info

Thanks for joining us for Organicfest celebration.
The Organicfest will be presented in all North Pack Square and Reuter Terrace in downtown Asheville. 

Organicfest vendors will be responsible for setting up tents, tables and chairs. To expedite set-up and (break down) at the event, everyone is asked to follow the instructions below for a smooth start to our celebration.

Thanks for joining us for Asheville’s Organicfest celebration.

The Organicfest will be presented in North Pack Square Square Park and Reuter Terrace Park in downtown Asheville. 

Organicfest vendors will be responsible for setting up tents, tables and chairs.

To expedite set-up and (break down) at the event, everyone is asked to follow the instructions below for a smooth start to our celebration.

PLEASE READ ALL THE VENDOR INFORMATION BELOW

SET UP TIMES

NORTH PACK SQUARE BOOTHS #1 - #24 Entry Time: 7:30 to 8:30

SOUTH PACK STREET #55 - #87  Entry Time: 7:30 to 8:30

SOUTH PACK STREET #25 - #54  Entry Time: 8:30\Section B ~ Reuter Terrace: FUN ZONE

ENTRY TIMES: 8:00 AM ~ 9:30 AM*

All vehicles must be out of Park by 9:45 

FESTIVAL HOURS

Festival Opens: 10 am

Festival Closes: 6 pm

Break Down: 6 pm*

IMPORTANT: Do not break down your booth until 6 pm.

ENTERING PARK & CHECK IN From BILTMORE AVENUE

When you enter your Park section, you will be greeted by

a check-in volunteer who will instruct you to your booth location. 

VEHICLE UNLOADING & PARKING:

Section A ~ North Pack Square:

Vendors will enter festival area from Broadway onto South Pack Square Street, check in to receive booth number and directions of its location. Please pull up to your numbered booth space, unload your supplies as quickly as possible on the sidewalk and move your car out of the park and to City Parking Garage or Free City Parking (see below).
All vehicles must be unloaded and parked BEFORE setting up booth.

IMPORTANT NOTE 

Do not park vehicles in front or near the Fire Department at any time.

TENTS 
All Vendors must provide their own tent unless arrangements were made with Organicfest organizers for a tent to be provided. Vendor tents should be free of ropes/ cords that obstruct walking traffic.

NO STAKES of any kind in grass or street.

TENT LEG WEIGHTS REQUIRED  IMPORTANT

Bring Weights! ALL 4 TENT LEGS MUST BE WEIGHTED DOWN. 

*If you need to come earlier than the times listed above, please contact Tom 828.279.2798 

Vehicles may not drive or park on the Roger McGuire lawn. You can only park your car on Spruce long enough to unload your supplies. Thank you.

TENT LEG WEIGHTS REQUIRED  IMPORTANT
Bring Weights! ALL 4 TENT LEGS MUST BE WEIGHTED DOWN.

Stakes are not allowed for securing tents. The Fire Department will be checking to be sure that tent legs are weighted. If not, your tent will have to come down. 

TABLES & CHAIRS 
Vendors must provide their own tables, table cloths and chairs unless you rented them with your registration.

TABLES & CHAIR PICK-UP
SECTION A: Vance Monument by Biltmore Building North Pack Street

TABLES & CHAIRS RENTALS:
Please check-in with volunteer before taking your rented table and chairs.

BANNERS & SIGNS:
All signs and banners must be secured to your tent, table...Do not use City signs or property for hanging any banners, signs or displays. We recommend that you bring string, rope, tape, marker : )

RAIN OR SHINE EVENT:
The Organicfest is a rain or shine event. Be prepared for inclement weather and bring coverings for your materials.

VENDOR PARKING
All vehicles must be unloaded and parked BEFORE setting up booth. Each booth space will be numbered. You will be directed to your booth upon check-in. We recommend bringing a friend to help.
Vehicles may not drive or park on the lawn.

PARKING OPTIONS:
FREE PARKING: Asheville City Employee Parking Lot
Vendors exiting from Spruce go straight to College Street make a right. Go straight to Charlotte Street and make a right. Make the first right from Charlotte on Eagle Street. Make the first right then next left on Marjorie. Parking is free all day. You will be parked 1 block from festival grounds.

FEE PARKING: College Street Parking Deck:
Exit Spruce Street and turn right at the traffic light going east on College Street. Continue going east on College to a traffic circle. Go all around traffic circle back to College Street going west. Continue just a short way and you will see College Street Parking Deck on your right (across from Asheville City Courthouse.
